Once you have signed up with us, follow these steps:
Download the Survey Setup File (Excel) from the link provided below.
Fill in general school details on Table 1, including the school name and main contact email.
Fill in specific survey information on Table 2, such as academic year, questionnaire language and start/end dates.
Fill in class information on Table 3, including class names, year groups and teachers.
We recommend using teachers aliases instead of real names.
This table will show the total number of students and their split by class.
Fill in student information on Table 4, using student aliases and class names.
IMPORTANT: To protect student privacy, please use aliases instead of student real names. For example, use a format such as JOSM45 instead of John Smith (consisting of two letters from the first and last names and a random number). This will help teachers recognise their students records while keeping student identities more secure. If you need support creating student aliases, please send us an email to the address indicated below. We cannot accept files that contain real student names.
You should keep a conversion table of real names and aliases at school to identify students.
Submit the completed file via email to the designated address as indicated below.
After data validation (usually one business day), you will receive a payment notice with costs based on your chosen pricing plan and the number of students listed. Full payment is required before launching the survey.
Finally, you will receive web links and access details for students, parents and teachers, and you're ready to launch!
